HISTORY OF THESE MICROFILMS
"F" special microfilms were first made in the late 1960s when this location was a private library and a few microfilms have been added to the collection over the years.

SPECIAL COLLECTION
The materials on the "F" special microfilms are either unique to this Los Angeles Regional Family History Center (LARFHC) or the materials are combined on the microfilms in a different order so that the microfilms can't be given a Salt Lake City number. None of these microfilms are in the Salt Lake Family History Library Catalog (FHLC).

There are about 678 microfilms in this Special Collection. About 134 are microfilms of newspapers, of which about 103 are the Los Angeles Times.

All the "F" special microfilms are located in far left of the Microfilm Room in Cabinets 29A and 30A.

FLOOR PLAN OF THE MICROFILM (MICROFICHE) ROOM

A very detailed inventory by Locality now exists for this Special Collection in a
BLUE notebook on top of the Microfilm Index Card File in the LARFHC at the entrance to the Microfilm Room.
This is the text on the front cover.

The F film material was compiled and written by Leland R. Horrocks - Missionary in April 2003.
